Working with refugees and asylum seekers from the Edinburgh
Refugee Centre, Stills artists ran digital video editing
workshops to create a short film which documents one man’s
experience of exile.
Karim is from Senegal, his story focuses on his new life
in the UK as well as on his memories of home, his beliefs,
his hopes to become a musician and to find his place in the
world.
Snap shots in exile, a film by Abdou Karim Diene and Stills
artist Kris Wright with the assistance of Rose de Larrabeiti,
will be on show in the big screen at the Filmhouse on Saturday
16 December at 1pm.
