John Morrison

John Morrison is a photography graduate of Edinburgh College of Art. His photographic practice is concentred with the exploration and communication of man-made spaces.

Morrison is Currently working as a lecturer of photography and digital imaging at Napier University, and Artist Tutor at Stills. He has rich and diverse experience in designing and delivering, creative, technical and social engagement programmes covering a broad range of photographic and digital imaging principles.

At Stills he has worked closely with commissioned and resident artists to ensure their continued technical and critical development. At Napier he is currently preparing a photographic teaching pack for John Bauer College of Sweden.

Morrisons fine art documentary, educational and commercial assignments have allowed him to explore unique natural and industrial environments.  His Adrift in Capital series won in the best digital category of The Observer Hodge competition. His photographic work has been exhibited in London, Edinburgh and Zurich and published in the Observer Magazine.
