For the third year running we were delighted to partner with the National Museum of Scotland to deliver a Fashion Photography course for senior school pupils. This year over 40 pupils from Clydebank High School, Lochgelly High School and St Thomas of Aquins participated and were given the opportunity to:

- Shape their own learning through selecting the location of their shoot and the styling of their models
- Have unique access to a range of costumes and props from the museum handling collections to use in their photographs
- Become familiar with the latest photography equipment, provided by Stills, such as Digital SLR cameras (Canon 600D) and studio lighting equipment (Bowens Flash units)
- Work with a professional photographer to create studio and environmental shots
- Develop ICT skills using i-Mac workstations with Adobe Photoshop (CS6) and Lightroom
- Engage with future career opportunities by working with experienced photographers and in professional environments
- Have their final work curated and exhibited at National Museum of Scotland, be invited to the opening, and receive their printed photograph afterwards

The exhibition of their final work can be seen in the learning space of the National Museum on Chamber Street, Edinburgh, until December 2014.
