Opportunities

Artist Proposals

During the course of a year we show the work of approximately 10 - 20 artists in our commissions and exhibitions, developed up to two years in advance.

All of the work we show has been specifically curated to reflect new developments in photography and contemporary visual art.

We are very interested in the work of new and emerging artists but do not have the resources to respond to unsolicited proposals. The best way to make the team aware of your work is to make sure we receive invitations and announcements.
If you would like to submit an exhibition proposal, please email curator@stills.org. Please do not submit proposals by post.

Please include:
CV
A short description of your work (100 words max)
Reference images - a link to your web site or 6 x .pdf format images (1MB max image size)

Each proposal is given careful consideration, and we regard this process as an important part of our programme research.

Please do not send original artwork. Please note that we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to unsolicited submitted material.

Unfortunately, due to the number of applications received by Stills, we cannot make appointments to meet with individuals to discuss each application. If we wish to follow up a proposal for further discussion we will contact you to arrange a meeting.
