Simon Faithfull Ice Blink
Following his residency with the British Antarctic Survey on board the ice-strengthened ship RSS Ernest Shackleton, Simon Faithfull presents Ice Blink, an exhibition of work from this incredible journey which further develops the artist’s fascination with landscape, technology and ideas of place.
Visit Stills and explore the mythical landscape of Antarctica through Simon’s photographs, delicate drawings made on a palm pilot and his mesmerising films of ice bergs, scientific experiments and remote islands with some unexpected inhabitants….
Ice Blink was curated by Lisa Le Feuvre, produced by The Arts Catalyst and developed through an Arts Council England/British Antarctic Survey Fellowship.
