Artist talk & Screening: François Bucher

Colombian artist François Bucher's documentary Haute Surveillance, currently on show at Stills, reflects on a violent rupture in the everyday life of a classroom when fiction bled into fact. This talk will offer a glimpse into Bucher's wider practice which focuses on  a range of subjects including the geographies of power, the politics of representation and the ethical questions posed by the mediums of cinema and television.
