Stills’ digital labs are situated on the first floor above the gallery. We are dedicated to providing access to the very latest digital technology in a friendly, comfortable and professional environment.

Our facilities have been designed to allow you to take full control of your production process, from start to finish. The Apple Mac Pro workstations run with high specifications that allow you to deal with large files quickly and easily while our Epson Stylus 4800 A2 printer enables you to produce archival quality, large scale, ink jet prints.

As we have no membership fees, you can start using our facilities by coming along for a 1-hour induction which costs £20.00. To arrange a suitable time please give us a ring on 0131 622 6200 or email resource@stills.org.

Consumables including paper, ink, CD’s and DVD’s are also available to buy at reasonable prices.

- Apple Mac Pro workstations with Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium Package (including Photoshop CS4 Extended, Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign and Bridge), connected to either Eizo FlexScan S1921 TFT Monitors or Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP 24” Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitors

- Video and Sound Editing suite with Tannoy monitors and Final Cut Pro Studio 2 (comprising Final Cut Pro 6, Motion 3, Sound Track Pro 2, Color, DVD Studio Pro 4, Pro Tools and Mbox)

- Epson Expression 10000XL Pro A3 flatbed scanner

- Hasselblad X1 Flextight film scanner

- Epson Stylus 4800 A2 archival printer

- A4 and A5 Wacom Pen Tablets
